Join Tennikoit GB

When you join Tennikoit GB, you become part of the national tennikoit community which is made up of players, coaches, volunteers and clubs who are all working together to grow the sport. Everyone who takes part in any form of tennikoit is being encouraged to sign up for membership.

Becoming a member adds your details to the national database which is used to track your journey through the sport. Everyone who joins is given a unique ID code and depending on ‘how’ you join (for example: as an individual player or as a club) different benefits will become available to you.

Player Membership

Joining Tennikoit GB as a player is the most common way that people join. Signing up for a player membership means you get the following benefits:

– Ability to enter official leagues and tournaments as an individual player
– Early notification of the launch of leagues and tournaments
– Priority sign up periods for events like the national championships
– Eligibility to represent Team GB at events like the world championships
– Receive the regular Tennikoit GB newsletter and online magazine
– Eligibility to stand for or nominate someone for the national committee

Coaching Membership

Whether you’re a lead tennikoit coach or you’re a volunteer supporting a local club, becoming a Tennikoit GB member with a coaching membership opens up a whole range of support.

– Early notification of leagues and tournaments your team can enter
– Free access to a database of coaching drills and practice session plans
– Ability to log completed coaching courses and certificates to your profile
– Receive the regular Tennikoit GB newsletter and online magazine
– Eligibility to work with Team GB at events like the world championships
– Access to coaching bursary and scholarships as they become available
– Priority sign up periods for coaching courses and development sessions
– Eligibility to stand for or nominate someone for the national committee

Club Membership

Whether you’re a community sports club or a school offering tennikoit as an after-school activity, you need to register with Tennikoit GB. When you sign up, you’ll receive the following:

– Ability to track and manage your group of players and volunteers in a central hub
– Priority registration for your club’s players into leagues and events
– Eligibility to take part in and compete in official leagues and events as a club
– Priority access to coaching courses and other qualifications for your club’s members
– Free access to a database of practice session plans for your club’s members
– Early notification of leagues and tournaments that your team can enter
– Access to equipment bursary and discounts as they become available
– A listing on the tennikoit club finder tool to help attract new players and members
– Direct support from Tennikoit GB on how to grow your club and attract funding
